Jasmine Ward

Vice President, Marketing & Communications

As the Vice President of Marketing for the Greater Sacramento Economic Council, Jasmine develops the Northern California Megaregion’s brand and story through strategic digital marketing and impactful graphic design.

Before joining the team, Jasmine spent two years at Placer County where she crafted digital and printed designs for the communications office, print shop and the agriculture department. She helped lead the design of several key projects, including the county’s digital economic development dashboard, ChoosePlacer.com. Jasmine has also worked with a variety of nonprofits, government agencies and small businesses over the years through her work as a freelance marketing and design consultant. During this time, she developed an array of data-driven communications and thoughtful designs focused on lead generation, community building and brand development. Jasmine got her start as a Marketing and Publications Assistant at Quinn Emanuel Urquhart & Sullivan, LLP in Los Angeles.

Jasmine holds a Bachelor of Arts in American Studies and Ethnicity from the University of Southern California and a Certificate of Achievement in Graphic Design from Sierra College. A Northern California native, Jasmine has a genuine passion for uniting and enriching our local communities. In her free time, she enjoys hiking and exploring the foothills of Auburn with her husband, son and their German Shepherd.
