Sacramento to host the IAMC Spring Forum for the first time
3/21/25
A landmark event for the Industrial Asset Management Council (IAMC)
加利福尼亚州萨克拉门托市 - The Greater Sacramento Economic Council (GSEC) is excited to announce that, for the first time, Sacramento will host the highly anticipated Industrial Asset Management Council (IAMC) Spring Forum from March 22-26, 2025. This prestigious event will bring together the top professionals in industrial asset management, commercial real estate and economic development from across the nation.
This year, GSEC is honored to have co-led the California hosting committee in partnership with TeamCalifornia and played a key role in securing the conference location in our region. GSEC is proud to be part of this important gathering in the industrial real estate industry. The IAMC Spring Forum offers invaluable networking opportunities, industry insights and educational sessions that will help shape the future of industrial asset management.
“We’ve hosted the IAMC Forum in other regions of California, but it makes perfect sense to shine the spotlight on Greater Sacramento this year,” said Robin Reimold, President & CEO of TeamCalifornia and host committee member. “We’re thrilled to help bring this event to the state capital, where innovation and opportunity are driving forces in shaping the future of industrial real estate across the region. What makes this even more special is the collective support we have from cities, communities and businesses across the entire state, all working together to make this forum a success.”
The theme of this year’s forum, “Strategies and Solutions for Corporate Real Estate’s New Normal,” reflects the significant changes the commercial real estate industry has faced in recent years. As the world continues to adjust, senior leaders in the industry are at the forefront of navigating these unprecedented times. The forum will focus on discussing the strategies and solutions from forward-thinking leaders, addressing the challenges, maximizing opportunities and emerging even stronger in this ever-evolving landscape. Topics will explore the impact of global economies, workplace culture shifts, innovative technologies and space utilization, all contributing to the creation of corporate real estate’s new normal.
GSEC will be hosting a panel discussion focused on Solidigm, a subsidiary of SK Hynix and a global leader in NAND flash memory solutions, and their decision to choose Rancho Cordova as a site for semiconductor R&D. This session will serve as a case study in semiconductor site selection. The panel will feature: Ashraf Abdelwly, Senior Director of Corporate Services at Solidigm, Micah Runner, City Manager for the City of Rancho Cordova and Greg Hribar, Commercial Development Manager at SMUD. The discussion will be moderated by Troels Adrian, Executive Vice President of GSEC.
The IAMC Spring Forum will feature an engaging lineup of keynote speakers, expert-led panel discussions and various networking events designed to enhance participants’ understanding of innovative industrial asset management practices. The event is expected to attract over 750 attendees, building on the success of last year’s event in Greenville, which drew 600 participants. This year, the IAMC is aiming to increase attendance, making it an even more impactful gathering for the industry.
Industry leaders from major companies like Prologis, CBRE, JLL, Industrial Asset Advisors and Easton Development are participating, contributing to the event’s success and further cementing Sacramento’s growing presence in the industrial sector.
Held at the Hyatt Regency Hotel, the Forum promises a dynamic environment that fosters innovative thinking, collaboration -and lasting business relationships.
“The forum will provide invaluable opportunities for leaders in industrial real estate to discuss how to adapt to the ever-changing landscape of the industry,” said Jan Mason, Director of Equitable Development of Mackenzie. “We’re excited to host these thought-provoking conversations and see how new strategies and solutions emerge.”
