Alberto Iandolino is a research and development lead with over 20 years of experience in agricultural engineering, biotechnology and chemistry R&D including projects to increase crop productivity and weed control technologies. Alberto has worked at Bayer Crop Science for over four years and has worked in a various roles including leading a discovery Team focused on the identification of herbicidal gene targets for weed control with BioDirectTM technology. Prior to Bayer Crop Science, Alberto worked at Monsanto in Davis for over 10 years focusing on leading teams to develop and research various R&D projects. He has demonstrated experience building and leading teams to solve complex biological problems by encouraging ideation, critical strategic thinking, and data-driven-decisions to foster innovations at the core of next generation agricultural productivity solutions.
