Alyson Buttery is President of the Real Estate Industries Group for Bank of the Sierra, a specialty lending group dedicated to investor real estate transactions throughout the Western U.S. Alyson brings 20 years of banking experience, holding senior leadership roles with several community banks, and most recently with Rabobank, N.A. and Mechanics Bank.

As a graduate of Cal Poly San Luis Obispo with a Bachelor of Science Degree in Psychology, she has volunteered for several organizations focused on mental health, including serving as President of the Community Counseling Center.

Alyson is also dedicated to the development of talent in the community and commercial banking industry, and has been continuously involved in her local chapter of the Risk Management Association and Pacific Coast Banking School at the University of Washington, where she completed the graduate banking and executive leadership programs. She has also led and participated in several internal talent development programs and Inclusion & Diversity programs within organizations. At Rabobank she was recognized for her contributions and invited to participate as part of national and international I&D programs, as well as executive mentorship programs as both mentor and mentee. Alyson has been recognized by the Pacific Coast Business Times Top 40 under 40.
