John B. Allard II


City of Roseville

John B. Allard II was born and raised in Turlock, California. He and his wife Lisa purchased their home in Roseville in 1987. John earned Bachelor’s Degrees in Political Science and History from California State University, Sacramento.

He served as Chief of Staff for Assemblyman and Senator Tim Leslie (1986—1997) and on the Roseville Planning Commission (2001—2003). John was appointed to the Roseville City Council in October 2003 and elected to four-year terms in November 2004 and November 2008. He was elected to City Council again in November 2016 and appointed to Mayor on February 6, 2019. John’s focus on the City Council has been creating a safe, healthy and prosperous community; enhancing community services; promoting economic vitality; preserving environmental assets and revitalizing the older areas of Roseville.

John and his wife Lisa operate Molly Maid of Placer County. Since taking over Molly Maid, they have grown the business by over 600%, creating numerous new jobs and providing a much-needed service to thousands of local residents. John and Lisa have been married for thirty years and have three grown children.
