IFG – The iFish Group

Greater Sacramento

Why did you choose the Greater Sacramento region to do business?

After developing a decade of relationships with state agencies, business partners and top IT consultants located in the Greater Sacramento area, Frank Ono founded The iFish Group in 2008. Mr. Ono opened the office downtown to best support our state clients, allowing us to more easily meet with and work with them in-person.

What are the benefits of living and doing business in the Greater Sacramento region?

Sacramento has steadily grown to become a strong business, cultural and entertainment hub. Having the IFG headquarters in Sacramento allows us to be close to our state government clients and the skilled talent base that best supports our clients’ success.

Do you believe your location in the Greater Sacramento region has helped you find quality talent?

Yes. The Greater Sacramento region has been a desirable area that attracts consultants and their families to live and work. The regional talent base is also largely familiar with state IT needs to benefit our clients.

Why do you choose to do business in California over other states?

We have refined our offerings to closely align with our California government clients’ business needs and have earned the reputation of being a trusted partner. California has a strong IT talent pool, and with remote work possibilities, we can work with consultants from across the U.S. and remain where we like to live. Though most of our business is California-based, IFG also does business in other states.

What is your favorite restaurant or hangout spot in the Greater Sacramento region?

With so many restaurants finally able to open back up and new establishments starting to appear, it’s hard to choose just one. We enjoy team lunches at Claim Jumper and Bangkok @ 12 Thai Restaurant. We’re excited to experience dining out again in old favorites and new tastes.
